General terms and conditions of business
General Terms and Conditions §1 Booking/Booking Confirmation When booking via our website, the booking is only effective after the deposit has been paid. If you pay the deposit by bank transfer, this must be done within 8 days, otherwise the landlord is entitled to release the rental property to other tenants. § 2 Payment Terms The deposit must be transferred to the specified account within 8 days of the booking confirmation. The remaining payment is due no later than 14 days before arrival. For short-term bookings, immediately upon receipt of the invoice. § 3 Arrival and Departure The holiday home is available from 3 p.m. on the day of arrival. The holiday home must be vacated by 10:30 a.m. The final cleaning costs are calculated so that the tenant leaves the holiday home in a broom-clean condition. Any dishes still used must be washed or put away in the dishwasher. The deposit of €250 will be refunded to the tenant on the day of departure, provided there is no damage. If the tenant wishes to depart early (before 8 a.m.), it can be agreed that the final inspection will be carried out by the landlord alone and the deposit will then be transferred to the tenant. The landlord is entitled to retain an appropriate amount of the deposit in the event of damage or excessive dirt. § 4 Damage The holiday home will be handed over by the landlord in a tidy and clean condition. If any defects exist or occur during the rental period, the landlord must be informed immediately. The tenant is liable for damage caused by him or his fellow travelers. It is recommended to take out liability insurance including damage to rented property - also for movable furniture in holiday homes. § 5 Cancellation Cancellation must be notified in writing. There is no cancellation fee for cancellations up to 60 days before arrival. For cancellations up to 14 days before arrival, 50% of the travel costs will be charged; for cancellations less than 14 days before arrival, 80% of the travel costs will be charged. Taking out travel cancellation insurance is recommended. § 6 Cancellation by the Landlord In the event of cancellation by the landlord due to force majeure or other reasons beyond his control, liability is limited to the reimbursement of the holiday home's travel costs. § 7 Severability Clause Should any of the rental conditions described above be unlawful, they will be replaced by a provision that most closely approximates the applicable provisions. The other rental conditions remain unaffected and continue to apply.
